At this annual meeting, hear an update on the business of the Association, including details/information about several ongoing Association initiatives such as:
- National Issues
- Town Halls
- Upcoming Events
- East and National Board Elections
The meeting will also include the presentation of the candidates who are running for the AICP East Board. The East Chapter Board is charged with managing issues affecting its members, and safeguarding policies that affect all members in the region. Agenda items for the Board will include external affairs (i.e. legislation affecting production), education, and community building.
There are five (5) seats for General Members up for election, and two (2) Associate seats. The term of service is two (2) years. If you would like to run for the Board, you will need to submit the following by September 22nd to Kristin Wilcha at kristinw@aicp.com:
- Two (2) letters of nomination from a member company other than your own company. For a complete list of member companies, please click here, and select the East option under General or Associate members by Region.
- A written statement (not to exceed 500 words) outlining why you want to serve on the East Board.
- A current biography.
Nominations will also be taken from the floor at the meeting.
