Meet Gloria Pitagorsky, the managing partner of Heard City, a company that specializes in sound design and mixing for the advertising, television, and film industries. With a client list that includes Google, Tubi, Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, and Mercedes, Gloria is a seasoned professional in her field.
But Gloria's passion extends beyond her work. She is also the head of the Ambassador Program for Green the Bid, a non-profit organization that aims to lead the production industry towards zero-waste, carbon-neutral, sustainable, and regenerative practices. Gloria is committed to mentoring and supporting women in film, technology, and advertising, and serves on the mentoring committee for She Runs It.
In addition, Gloria helped launch a Mentoring Program for AICP to promote Equity & Inclusion in the production industry. She serves as Vice-Chair on the Board Of Directors of Food Bank for NYC, Advisory Board for Green The Bid, and is on the National Board and East Boards of Directors for AICP. Recently, Gloria joined the Board for the Future of Film is Female, an organization that amplifies the voices of all women and non-binary filmmakers through funding and community programs, including film series at MOMA.
Gloria lives in NYC with her husband David, son Jayson, and their mini-Bernese dog, Teddy. She is committed to making a positive impact in her community.
