Partners in both life and art, Radha Ganti and Robert Lopuski are the filmmaking duo King She.

In late 2022, King She released their debut film, ‘Rare: The Boy Who Cried Swag,’ an oneiric, dreamlike short about model Rico Sanches, his turbulent upbringing in Washington DC, and his younger brother Raphael, who he lost to police violence – and a subsequent coverup. The film premiered on Nowness, won 3 Young Director Awards in Cannes, 1.4 Awards Gold for Best Short Film, was a Ciclope finalist, and was both Vimeo Staff Pick and Director’s Library Best of 2022.

Their recent Apple Music Super Bowl teasers for Rihanna’s halftime show was shortlisted for 5 AICP nominations, including Best New Director, and a D&AD award nomination for Best Director. It was their first commercial campaign.

Recently King She was invited by the Young Director Awards to develop and host a Podcast Series. Shots magazine calls it an “entertaining and informative deep dive into the different mindsets and experiences” of both rising and established filmmakers.
