Samuel Dennigan is the founder and CEO of Strong Roots, a global vegan frozen food brand committed to planet friendly, sustainable food.

Launched in 2015 with a mission to fix the freezer aisle, Strong Roots is now available in over 8,000 stores worldwide including major retailers like Whole Foods, Kroger, Target, and Walmart.

Recognized in the likes of Forbes and Fortune, Sam has grown Strong Roots from a team of one to now a team of over 50. He recently closed a strategic capital raise of $55 million from leading TPG company McCain Foods– the largest vegan deal made by an Irish brand– with a mission to expand the company's global footprint.

Sam regularly speaks to industry professionals about building sustainable and robust supply chains and the impact of our food choices. He serves as an advisor to young entrepreneurs who want to find their way in the food space and is on the board of Endeavor, a global community of high-impact entrepreneurs transforming the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Born and raised in Ireland, Sam spent 10 years working at his family’s fresh produce business, inspiring him to revolutionize the sustainable food space. He is also a genuine lover of food and believes that conscious eating can be more innovative. He attended Ulster University and now lives in New York with his wife and two sons.
