Yvette Cobarrubias is a Founder and Managing Partner of Cosmo Street Editorial, an award-winning post house she’s helped grow from a single-editor shop into a globally recognized creative partner with five U.S. offices and a roster of top-tier talent.
She collaborates with leading brands like T Mobile, Apple, Nike, Google, and Coca-Cola, shaping work that defines modern advertising. Her film credits include The Florida Project, Love Liza, and Project Imagination, among others.
As an established industry leader, Yvette serves on the AICP National Board and Executive Committee, both Midwest and West Coast boards, several times as President. As an elected Television Academy Governor, she champions the art of the commercial, while co-chairing the Creative Arts Emmys committee for three consecutive years. She co-founded the highly successful Women’s Forum and has produced, judged, and won top honors across Cannes Lions, Clios, AICP, and the Emmys.
As the founder of a woman and minority owned business, advocacy is central to Yvette’s ethos. Led by her vision, Cosmo emerged as a thought leader in sustainability within the ad industry, and was the first post-production company to join Green The Bid.
A Santa Monica native now based in Chicago, she’s a self-made leader with a global perspective, well known for fostering a sense of connection and community in the pursuit of simple joy - typically around a curated dinner table with the Rolling Stones as the soundtrack.
