David Hernandez is a cross-media creative and branding expert with a career spanning digital start-ups, large traditional agencies, creative boutiques, and client-side leadership roles. At Allstate, David is responsible for how the brand shows up in the world, from the largest tentpole events like The Sugar Bowl, down to the smallest digital micro-interactions, and everything in between. In his career, he served brands including Nike, Patagonia, Bud Light, Kohler, Miller Lite, Microsoft, and Dove. David is honored that his work across film, print, radio, digital, outdoor, and direct has been recognized by industry award shows and publications, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD, LIA, South By Southwest, The Wall Street Journal, The New York and Chicago International Film Festivals, and Communication Arts, among others.
His experience at a number of start-ups enabled him to bring an entrepreneurial spirit and more agile ways of working to large agencies and historically "traditional" enterprises. David is most at home when working at the intersection of creativity, data, and emerging technology.
David is honored to serve as Board member for The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, and in his spare time, he can be found alongside his wife Tereasa Surrat and their daughter Charlie, working on the never-ending renovations at their beloved Camp Wandawega, recognized on The National Register of Historic Places.
