Magdalena Hernández is a commercial and documentary editor from Bogotá, Colombia based in Chicago. Her work is rooted in curiosity about people, identity, and the small moments that reveal something larger about how we move through the world.
Her documentary work has screened at Sundance, DocFest, Chicago International Film Festival, BlackStar Film Festival, Telluride Mountainfilm, Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, and many more.
Currently, Magdalena is part of Cutter’s roster of editors, where she has edited commercials for brands like Nissan, NFL, Walmart, Allstate, Ford, and others.
Outside the edit suite, Magdalena is probably collaging, playing D&D, and figuring out how to use Letterboxd.
