Becky Morrison is an award-winning producer, renowned for her advocacy of progressive production. Her cinematic journey began on the Hollywood blockbuster I AM LEGEND, where she coordinated the 200+ production staff required to shoot the film’s exteriors. She then worked in animation on Disney’s feature film THE WILD, before entering the world of rock n’ roll to produce visual content for U2’s 360° World Tour.
Over the course of her career, Becky has produced and executive produced hundreds of projects for clients including Netflix, Apple, NBC, A&E, Hulu, and Disney—as well as the Emmy-nominated open for NBC Sunday Night Football.
She also produced TO BE FREE, a short film about Nina Simone that was acquired by the Criterion Collection and the Smithsonian Museum’s permanent collection.
Currently, she is a producer on the feature Safe Sets: Dying to Work in the Film Industry, which exposes hazardous working conditions, personal sacrifices, and unnecessary risks faced by cast and crew members.
Becky is the founder and CEO of The Light, a commercial production company leading systemic change in the film industry. She has spent years studying the history of Hollywood and uses her research to inform a new framework for conscious production.
