Frank Scherma is the President and co-founder of RadicalMedia, an award-winning independent production company that has revolutionized the commercial and branded content space. Under his leadership, RadicalMedia has partnered with some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Apple, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, and many more, crafting groundbreaking campaigns that redefine how brands connect with audiences.
Originally known for its success in advertising, RadicalMedia has evolved into a global force in commercial production, television, film, and digital content, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and London. Through innovative storytelling and cutting-edge production, Frank has helped create some of the most influential commercials and branded experiences in the industry, continuously pushing creative and technological boundaries.
Working alongside top filmmakers, directors, and creative visionaries, Frank has produced award-winning campaigns, television series, feature films, and immersive digital projects. His work has earned two Academy Awards®, a Golden Globe®, multiple Emmys®, Grammys®, Webbys®, and the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award, along with two Palme d’Ors from the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival—the highest honor in commercial creativity.
Beyond his work in commercial production, Frank plays a major role in shaping the industry. He is an active board member of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP), where he champions the future of commercial filmmaking and innovation. He is also the Immediate Past Chairman and CEO of the Television Academy, helping to elevate television’s impact and support the creative community. Additionally, he serves on the board of ThinkLA, a nonprofit that connects leaders in media, marketing, advertising, and entertainment.
