Michael Hlatky is the Head of Engineering at Holoplot in Berlin, Germany. He’s been with the company since 2018, joining when it had just 10 employees. He was the lead engineer on the Holoplot X1 Matrix array loudspeaker system, of which about 2000 are installed in the MSG Las Vegas Sphere, the largest installed concert sound system in the world.

Originally hailing from Rosenheim, just north of the Alps in Germany, Michael Hlatky studied Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg, and at the University of Bremen. Prior to joining Holoplot, Michael held engineering roles at Bragi, Native Instruments, Bang&Olufsen and Audi. In his free time Michael cooks food, climbs mountains, and enjoys spending time with his family."
