Patrick Milling-Smith is a film, theatre, and commercial producer and co-founder / CEO of the international production company SMUGGLER. Patrick has produced Tony, Emmy, and Grammy-awarded work along with two decades of festival-winning commercials, virtual reality, and music videos. 
 
In 2023/2024, SMUGGLER won their fifth Palme d’Or and twelfth Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival and were awarded the Production Company of the Year accolade by Ad Age, Ciclope Festival, shots Awards, One Show, Art Directors Club, and Clios Awards. 
 
Notable projects include the Broadway run of Sam Gold helmed Macbeth starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga; a Boston run of Broadway-bound musical Sing Street; Netflix and Apple TV+ commissioned limited series, including the four-part docuseries about soccer superstar Lionel Messi for Apple and the Netflix limited series Evil On Trial; Skittles: The Broadway Musical, starring Michael C. Hall; Emmy Award-winning commercials for Sandy Hook Promise and Squarespace; the internationally acclaimed and 8x Tony Award-winning musical, Once; and the stage adaptation of Robert Evans’ memoir, The Kid Stays in the Picture. Upcoming theatre productions include the Broadway musical Buena Vista Social Club and the London opening of Sing Street. 
 
In September, SMUGGLER announced a joint venture content studio with Lionel Messi to develop TV, film, and branded partnerships globally. 
 
Patrick sits on the board of Punchdrunk International, the world’s leading immersive theatre company (Sleep No More, Burnt City). Patrick has served as the Jury Chairman at the Clio Awards, President of Film Craft at Cannes Lions, and Jury President at CICLOPE Festival.
