Gloria Pitagorsky is a dedicated New Yorker and community advocate passionate about philanthropy and social causes. She is the Managing Partner of Heard City, a leading sound design and mixing company she co-founded with Phil Loeb, specializing in audio post-production for the advertising, television, and film industries.

A strong advocate for mentorship and the advancement of women in technology, film, and advertising, Gloria contributes to initiatives like She Runs It and the AICP mentoring program. In 2024, she was honored with the She Runs It President’s Award for fueling innovation and her dedication to advancing women in the industry. She also serves on the board of The Future of Film is Female, which amplifies women’s voices through funding initiatives and a film series at the MoMa. As a member of the Board of Directors for the New York Women’s Foundation, she works tirelessly to uplift women throughout New York City.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Gloria actively supports several organizations, holding significant roles such as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Food Bank for NYC and Advisory Board Member for Green The Bid. She also serves on the AICP East and National Board, contributing to the Post Council Committee and the Women's Forum, helping foster community and collaboration within the industry.

Gloria is an Ambassador for Every Woman Counts, a non-profit organization committed to ensuring safe pregnancy and childbirth for women worldwide. With a commitment to animal welfare, she recently joined the board of Puppy Kitty NYC to impact animal rescue efforts. She has participated in numerous charity races, supporting important causes like the Committee to Protect Journalists, the ASPCA, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Center for Reproductive Rights. She is also a certified tea sommelier, enjoying tea shops throughout New York City.

Gloria lives in New York City with her husband, David, and their Mini Bernese dog, Teddy, and finds joy in her community involvement and her close relationship with her 26-year-old son, Jayson
