The AICP Negotiating Committee is preparing for upcoming negotiations with the Teamsters Local 399 for new Commercial Agreements to succeed the current agreements (one for drivers, wranglers, animal handlers and trainers and another for location scouts and managers) which expire on June 30, 2026. We are scheduled to meet with the Union to begin negotiations on May 19.
Please return your completed Authorization to Negotiate form to the AICP as soon as possible if you wish the AICP to represent you in these negotiations. Your signature on the Authorization to Negotiate form will bind you to the AICP-negotiated agreements.
Click here to download the Authorization to Negotiate form.
Please submit your signed Authorization to Negotiate form to labor@aicp.com with your company name in the subject line and “Teamsters Local 399 Authorization.”
The AICP will submit to the Teamsters Local 399 the list of authorizing production companies in advance of the May 19 bargaining session.
Your company may receive a notice directly from the Teamsters Local 399 regarding the expiration of these contracts with a request to negotiate. That notice requires no response from you to the Union if you sign and submit the Authorization form linked above.
Your return of the signed Authorization directly to the AICP satisfies your obligation at this time. However, should you not wish to be represented by the AICP in these negotiations, you may respond directly to the Union and schedule your own negotiations for successor agreements.
If you have any questions about this form or your company’s signatory status, contact Ralph Loyola, Labor Relations Manager, at ralphl@aicp.com.
