AICP AWARDS: 2025 Tour Stop in San Francisco Featured a Fireside Chat with Apple's Tor Myhren

The 2025 AICP Awards Tour visited San Francisco on September 29th at the Exploratorium Museum. The evening featured a conversation with Tor Myhren, Vice President of Marketing Communications at Apple, and Matt Miller, President and CEO of AICP. During the hour-plus fireside chat, Tor discussed his history in advertising, as well as some of Apple’s recent highlights, including “Flock,” which won Advertising Excellence (Best of Show) at this year’s AICP Show, and “Submerged,” for the Apple Vision Pro, which among other honors, won for Production in the Show and Innovation in the AICP Next Awards. The audience was also able to view an Apple Watch piece that highlights how the device literally saves lives.

For the past several years, Apple has been amongst the most recognized brands in the AICP Awards, topping the list of most awarded brands since 2023. This year saw 10 wins across the AICP Show - including Advertising Excellence (Best of Show) - as well as three wins in the AICP Next Awards and two in the AICP Post Awards.

After the talk, there was a reception, as well as the opportunity to experience Apple Vision Pro as well as some of the Exploratorium’ s interactive installations. Swell - Music + Sound sponsored the DJ.
