COMMUNITY AFFAIRS: Viva Las Holidays: Members Played to Win, and Played to Give

On Thursday, December 11th, AICP hosted its annual holiday party. Held at the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC), the night’s theme was Viva Las Vegas. Paramount Studios sponsored the casino, which included blackjack, craps and roulette. Proceeds went to three worthy organizations – Everyday Action; Manifest Works and Streetlights. All players had the opportunity to win generously donated prizes that included car rentals, free hotel stays, Lakers tickets, and more.

In addition, there was karaoke, many Elvises, and lots of great food and drinks. The U.S. Marines were in attendance, colleting new, unwrapped toys for its Toys for Tots program. Guests donated over 500 toys to the cause.
