Jim Pharo is Of Counsel to Dentsu International/Dentsu Creative. Previously, he had a successful solo practice providing legal and business affairs services to a variety of agencies and brands. Jim served as SVP – Legal at Y&R before becoming General Manager/COO of The Lord Group, a Y&R/Dentsu joint venture. Prior to his Y&R days, Jim was the Global Advertising Counsel for American Express. He began his legal career at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and is a 1983 magna cum laude graduate of the Cardozo School of Law.
